Head in the Game (Dey Street Books) is my first book from a big publisher. It comes out on Feb. 28.
Thus, a party.
If you’re reading this, you’re invited, however you happened to stumble across it.
Said party shall take place at the Carolina Ale House in Greenville, North Carolina–my hometown!–on Friday, March 3 starting at 7 p.m. We’re laying claim to the whole second floor patio. Admission is free. In return, you get
- Door prizes
- General merriment
Point is, bring yourself, your better halves, whoever. Fun will be had!
(We’ll also give away some copies of the book — and of course, we’ll have some you can buy if you want. I’ll even sign them, if you’re into that kind of thing.)
Here’s the event’s Facebook page, where if you would RSVP that would be groovy and helpful, but isn’t really necessary because we’re cool like that (/disorganized apparently).
See you there! Maybe! Okay then!
ABOUT THE BOOK:
The book is about the ways elite athletes are studying and training their minds much in the same way they began doing that for their bodies a few decades ago, and the profound impact it is having not only on their performance but also on their lives—and what all of that means for the rest of us.
