Blake Griffin Not The First To Dunk Over Car; LeBron To Become First To Dunk Over Giraffe

Here's some more fun for sports fans and non-sports fans alike. Men jumping over cars to throw basketballs through nets. And here I am, just happy to still be able to grab rim.

If you somehow haven't heard, Blake Griffin, the rookie phenom from the Los Angeles Clippers, won the 2011 NBA Dunk Contest Saturday night by jumping over a Kia. His "coach for the night," Kenny Smith, made it sorta dramatic. It was sorta weird. They even had the Crenshaw choir show up and sing "I Believe I Can Fly." It felt like church, just in a sort of wrong way.

But the dunk was cool. Only, it wasn't original, and the first guy to dunk over a car, Marko Milic, did it in Europe a few years ago. And his might have been better than Griffin's. Check the videos below, and let me know in the comments which was better.

The first video below is Griffin's dunk. The second is Milic's.

Milic dunked over a Honda del Sol. And won the car.

The day after the Dunk Contest, LeBron James went on the record saying that he would have dunked over a giraffe. At the end of the clip, they bring out the giraffe.

Which dunk was better?

Although I like the fact that Milic actually jumped over the high part of the car, it def wasn't nearly as impressive. The kid had to start running from the other end of the court and he held the ball the whole time (traveling I might add). Griffin's was just a lot more impressive with the ally-oop pass and all.

Also, I could have lived without listening to LeBron James running his mouth, just saying...

Yeah, I'm pretty torn between the two. Griffin's dunk was definitely sexier, but Milic's seemed more impressive for some reason. I just can't make up my mind.
