Jack

Our new dog is Jack. He's three months old. He's what happens when a non-castrated Jack Russell Terrier happens upon a lady Pit Bull in heat. Jack's dad braved water hoses and paintball bullets to get to his love. If that's what it can be called. Love.
And a few months later, Jack came into the world.
He's quite brand new. He falls down a lot. It takes him two or three tries to get up on the couch.
He's tough, though. Cooper gets into him pretty hard when they get riled up. And he's always humping the little guy. Which, since you're brilliant readers, you all know is purely a dominance thing, especially since Cooper has no, well, you know.
And Jack always comes back for more. I tell Cooper to enjoy it, because Jack's already his size, and it won't be much longer until Jack's twice his size. Then we'll see how much he gets humped.
So I like him. I made a good call.
That said, he's about as bright as you can expect something three months old to be.
Right now, he's growling at a dog he sees through the window. A dog staring him down, growling back at him. A dog with the same white-and-black nose and brown coat. A dog that also looks like he was born three months ago.
Yeah, he's not the brightest.
He may or may not be trying to fight off his own reflection.
So, yeah. He makes life good.

Growl away Jack, growl away. You should record this and put it on the Youtube.
This makes me so excited to see him again! :)
Hassell, I'm trying. I've working on putting together some other videos that are also amazing. Epic battles of him and Cooper and such. But the epic battles of him and The Dog in the Window—I can't seem to catch him. Yet.
Heidi—he's very excited to see you, too!
