GoodSports: The Cow That Became a Horse

Luna the Cow lives in Germany with the Mayer family. The Mayers' 15-year-old daughter, Regina, wanted a horse a couple years ago. She didn't get one.

Being innovative (apparently), Regina saddled up the family bovine and now, two years later, Luna "thinks she's a horse," Regina told the Associated Press.

Indeed. She even hurdles hurdles like a horse. Except she is a cow, so she does it about as swiftly and gracefully as you might expect a cow to hurdle things. Still, dude ... it's a cow getting ridden like a horse.

It's a Chik-Fil-A commercial just waiting to happen.

Of course, it's led to drama. While Luna has successfully socialized with other horses, her fellow cattle are giving her the cold flank.

"They're jealous because she always gets goodies," Regina told The Telegraph

And maybe because they know that there's no chance she becomes a steak.

And as far as news headlines go, the win totally goes to Yahoo! News. Udderly amazing, indeed.
