GoodSports: Nick Vujicic, the No-Armed, No-Legged Lover of Life
Print "It's a lie to think that you're not worth anything."

He was born with no arms, no legs, and just one foot that's really more like a drumstick. His word. He can also throw tennis balls, fish, play soccer, and swim. Basically, he lives harder and better than most people who actually have two, three, even all four limbs.
He's Nick Vujicic (VOOY-cheech). His condition is called tetra-amelia. He's 28. He started a non-profit at age 17 called Life Without Limbs. He lives life harder than most people with all their arms and legs. He loves it more than most of them, too. He's Australian, which is awesome, because of his accent.
He can also type, comb his hair, shave, answer the phone, brush his teeth. He wrote a book. He's inspiring on ridiculous levels.
I know people who b— and moan because they don't have a job or because, heaven forbid, their parents, being human, made mistakes raising them, or because life isn't going "their way."
You probably know people like that too. Maybe you're like me, and some days are such an ingrate that you feel like that, too. Hey, it's human, and some days just suck.
Just watch the video of Vujicic below. Betcha can't not cry.
Then spread the goodness. Tweet it, Facebook share it, email it, whatever. The world is dark, but life is beautiful, and we need to remember the Nick Vujicics that inhabit this planet, because we'd be better to be more like them.
Know what I mean?
