So, this is what I wore to the Dark Knight Rises premiere last night. I know. You're insanely jealous. Shh, shh, it's okay. Not everyone can be as cool as me. Accepting that is your first key to happiness. Just let go ...

I'll be honest with you—that thing came off pretty quickly. Snuggies are hot. 

About the movie: It was awesome. So good. How is it only 85 percent on RottenTomatoes? Some people, man.* 

* Future blog post on how we "ruined the movie" for the people in the Katy Perry movie before TDKR coming soon! Was going to fit it here in a little sidenote, but it got too long. It's that amazing.

All I'll say about the movie, because I don't want to be one of "those people" who create unreasonably high expectations and also because I'm not a movie critic and also those are just convenient excuses for me not to write much right now because I'm swamped with other stories to write ... SO ... I'm just going to say two things.

First, I'll say the same thing I said to my dad as we left Lord of the Rings back when I was a kid: "I want to create something like that." 

Second, the three-word review I texted my brother, who was on his way into the 3 a.m. showing in Raleigh:

"Dude. Whoa. Enjoy."
